One-day courses are a valuable way for old students to strengthen their practice.

Only those who have completed a 10-day course with S.N. Goenka or one of his assistant teachers can be accepted on a one-day course.

The timetable is as follows & may vary slightly:

 
a.m. 8:30-9 - Arrive/Registration
 
a.m. 9-9:50 - Anapana instructions
 
a.m. 10-11 - Meditation 
 
a.m. 11-12 - Vipassana instructions
 
p.m. 12-1 - Lunch and rest (Interviews with teacher if present)
 
p.m. 1-2:20 - Meditation
 
p.m. 2:30-3:30 - Group Sitting
 
p.m. 3:40-5 - Metta

The information you provide on this form will be treated confidentially unless disclosure is required by law. Some of the information will be processed on computer. By completing and signing this form, you give your consent to the storage and use of this information by the course organizers as described in the Privacy Policy applicable where the course for which you are applying is being held, a copy of which may be obtained from the course registrar or at the course site upon your arrival.

Your personal data is being processed by the Calm Foundation (Calm), established in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and registered under Chambre of Commerce number 69501440. You can contact Calm, the representatives and the Data Protection Officer by using the e-mail info@calm.dhamma.org.

The purposes for the processing of your data is to provide you with the course you applied for. We need the information to offer you the course, take organisational measures and comply with the legal requirements. We gather information related to your personal identity, such as name, address, date of birth and also we inquire about physical and mental capability to follow a course and, if applicable, about course-history and current practise. On arrival at the course site we will ask all students to complete a paper registration form. These paper forms will be stored separately. One of the purposes for which your data may be used is for the sending of a newsletter. Where this is the case there will be a clear option for you to unsubscribe. Your personal data will not be stored longer than necessary. You can find the criteria used in the general Privacy Policy and the local Privacy policy for the paper files.

You have a right to withdraw your consent at any time prior to the course or to have your file erased at any point prior to the course . This could however mean that we are not able to process the application. Without the essential information we cannot offer you a course since we will not be able to take organisational measures and assess your request to attend the course.
